We combine punk elements with some 80s style, poppy anthems with pure power. Our unifying element is the politically motivated lyrics. Saving the world is hard work, even for three highly motivated superheroes.\n\nTHE HYBRIS is a 100% virtual music project and at the same time a visual experiment. Comic superheroes with masks, some instruments and a lot of ambition and good intentions. In real life we are an international Alternative Rock project formed by three friends. Previously living in Germany, and gaining experience by playing in various bands, the outfit now resides in Nice, L.A. and Cologne. \n\nThe name THE HYBRIS was inspired by Greek tragedy. Hybris stood for exaggerated self-pride, arrogance, excess of ambition causing the transgressor’s ruin - the perfect headline for the age we are living in.","thumbnail_url":"https://i1.sndcdn.com/avatars-t2BCtVYDyTloaE2s-jDITuQ-t500x500.jpg","html":"<iframe width=\"100%\" height=\"450\" scrolling=\"no\" frameborder=\"no\" allow=\"autoplay; encrypted-media\" src=\"https://w.soundcloud.com/player/?visual=true&url=https%3A%2F%2Fapi.soundcloud.com%2Fusers%2F41989450&show_artwork=true\"></iframe>","author_name":"THE HYBRIS","author_url":"https://soundcloud.com/thehybris"}
