Who am I to try to control who you are? Who am I to stop the earth from shaking? Who am I to stop you from hesitating So when the world comes caving in, and I've got nowhere to go I'll call out your name, and you'll act like you don't know Who I am, or even what we had, I can't imagine you turning your back But who am I to act, as if I deserve better than that? Who am I to try to control the stars? Who am I to try to control who you are? Who am I to stop the earth from shaking? Who am I to stop you from hesitating and that's when I found myself, desolate and alone No longer by the side, of anyone I know If I was placed in a crowd, of people that claim to love me I would soon realize, none of you know me You weren't too far, from that place that I am in If I could pull you down with me, I'd do it in a second But the skies are gorgeous here, when I witness them There's a point left for me to live this life I've been given.
