Sacrificio by Nyksan

‘Sacrificio’ is the baptism of an immersive interactive project, a comprehensive work that incorporates multiple arts. Sculpture, music, digital arts, architecture and photography collide to exalt the Colombian territory, specifically a section of the imposing Chiribiquete, a place that has been described as the "Sistine Chapel" of the archaeology of America.
There, the Bogotá born - London based producer embarks on a deep journey to the heart of dark and rhythmic ambient music. Sacrificio dissolves the boundaries between synthesis and field recordings to create experimental yet primitive spaces. Immersive drone running into the jungle, stealthy ambience and instrumentals stalk you through the undergrowth. The climax of this album is revealed in the friction of the sonic with our memories and the dream territory.
