disquiet0299 slow waltz by NorthWoods published on 2017-09-23T01:34:42Z compose a 10BPM waltz! this uses drum machine, banjo, "William" (a dulcimer I found in the trash) and lap steel. Some echo and reverb on the drums and steel; all other effects are from dramatically slowing down clips of the banjo and William. The tune is inspired by the beginning of "The Weight" by The Band. Genre 10bpm Comment by Hypoid @north_woods: Smart girl, harsh critic ;-) 2017-09-28T10:42:04Z Comment by NorthWoods @suss-musik: thanks! 2017-09-27T22:01:24Z Comment by NorthWoods @hypoidsound: thanks! my daughter's idea to use traditional instruments ("dad you sound like a generic dutch trance dj", lol) 2017-09-27T22:01:17Z Comment by Hypoid Enjoying the happier feel of the instruments and the correlation of a traditional waltz and The Bands "Last Waltz". Not sure if that made sense...but I like it :-) 2017-09-27T15:15:36Z Comment by Suss Müsik Sounds like it could have been recorded live on someone's back porch. Very nice. 2017-09-23T16:23:46Z
