Olim - Ti Vedo by NoMad Records published on 2017-04-02T20:30:54Z Olim in latin can be used to indicate a time in the past or in the future. It can mean ‘once upon a time’ and ‘someday in the future’. A name and a project to shape a different and more narrative sound and move away from a specific genre, by taking inspiration from the past but at the same time leaving it, moving forward. 'Ti vedo' is the digital single disclosing the debut of Olim project. The original mix is the opening track for the forthcoming 8 tracks album 'Recursively', where the intro words were taken from a piece of poetry by Bunny Marrett, an influential figure on the Bristol reggae scene during the 70's. "Time guides my destiny, so wake up and face reality, can’t go nowhere being with superstitions and fears, so learn to live with dignity, embrace humanity and stop having problem my friends." Those words are the symbolic beginning of a sonic journey that will be revealed with the release of the 12" vinyl album at the end of May 2017.
