Solid Steel Radio Show 6/9/2013 Part 3 + 4 - DK + Thur Deephrey by Ninja Tune

DK starts the second hour in a slightly darker mood with music from London Grammar remixed by Fracture, House of Black Lanterns, forthcoming single from Machinedrum and Om Unit on remix duties for Memory9. Then it's Earl Sweatshirt utilising David Axelrod, Dean Blunt over Pentangle and into the original track followed by Blues Magoo to close.

Following on from last week's Bollywood mix and previous travels to Africa and Soviet Steel, it's the turn of Cuba where Thur Deephrey picked up a stack of vinyl which is presented in this mix. It touches on Cuban jazz, psychedelic, folk and funk-rock peppered with beats and episodes from long lost Cuban cinematography. The track list however is extensively censored by Cuban authorities, sort of, leaving some tracks still to be unearthed.
