Label boss at Talman Records, Paris-born, Berlin-based Okain is a household name for many across house, minimal, and techno. Carrying an unquestionable studio pedigree with releases on Infuse, Pleasure Zone, Constant Sound, Eastenderz, and PIV, his blend of contemporary house has taken him to the booths of renowned institutions, including Panorama Bar, fabric and Rex Club, to name just a few. After dropping his ‘Daddy’s Groove’ EP on the label at the start of 2022, racking up love from names such as Moxie, D’Julz, Chris Stussy, and Djebali, he returns to LOCUS to close April with his ‘All Along’ EP, with American DJ/producer Garrett David on remix duties as he makes his label debut.

‘With You All Along’ is a driving production guided by cosmic melodies and warped vocals as rich organic drums propel the production’s tight and hypnotic groove, taking cues and inspiration from 90s and early 00s tech house staples such as Peace Division. Next, ‘Botellon’ takes a more stripped-back dynamic as fluctuating synth leads and shimmering pads meet skippy drums, while Garrett David’s remix journeys deeper into spacier territories while employing a killer bassline deep within the mix.
