AMENTI Niels Hermkens Tilburg Amenti is a Dutch rapper/singer/songwriter/producer... actually a Jack of all trades whithin the realm of sound, who loves to explore the possibilities of being a musician. He was born as Niels Josef Hubertus Hermkens in the hospital of Venray and grew up in a small town called Sevenum, Noord-Limburg. After a few years of recreational creativity, unhappy with the social position he was in, he decided to give the music business a go as he auditioned for both Def P & Beatbusters and Rockacademie, Tilburg (with his former band "Crossfront"). Both auditions were successful and he went on as a Arts Student in Tilburg, where he still resides. Most of his solo work was released on Empiri Music, like the 'Gaia' Ep for instance. 'Leef!' was released without a label, and rumour has it that there should exist more material which has not been released so far... Besides being a musician, he's also label manager for WKND Records, an EDM label focusing mainly on Electro- and progressive housemusic.
