Nick Haemker Nick Haemker California Since I can remember, the love of music has always been my passion. I started taking lessons when I was 11 years old in September of 1999. From that moment on, I discovered my love and passion for the piano and classical music. I continued my education in piano and music theory all the way through college. In 2005 I started taking music history, theory, orchestral and piano courses through Las Positas College in Livermore, CA. In the year of 2011, I was able to graduate with an A.A. in Music and a Certificate in Beginning Piano Pedagogy. During my college years, starting in the year of 2008, I worked at a music studio called SmARTSunlimited, where I taught piano, guitar and drums for 6 years. In 2014, I went on to teaching privately and have been teaching ever since. When I am not teaching piano and music, I also compose my own pieces ranging from solo piano to ensembles. I have been told by many of my colleagues that my music is idiomatic and expressive. I hope you enjoy my music.
