Nicola Daniele and Cesare Marocco – aka NiCe7 – are not new in the worldwide Tech
House scene with over a decade of activity and a good number of high topping charts
releases, remixes and collaborations.
Deep House is another realm where they have succeeded in with their popular “Back to
Basics” EP and then scoring a chart-topping hit with their remix of Jon Cutler’s “It’s
Yours”, both released on Noir Music. That year they also founded their own record label DFloor,
an imprint dedicated to “credible and forward-thinking outputs.”
Since 2005, the year the two paired up, they NiCe7 have released on a great number of
highly respected and renowned underground labels such as Crosstown Rebels, Defected,
Snatch!, Noir Music, Get Physical, Gruuv and Mother to name only a few, always crafting
dance floor bombs for whoever calls on their services and with collaborations/remixes to and
from the likes of Claude VonStroke, Terranova, Steve Bug, Claptone, Romanthony, Riva
Starr, Artbat, Luke Solomon, Audiojack, Luna City Express, Argy, Pirupa, Latmun,
Tiger Stripes, Carlo Lio, Dario D’Attis, Jon Cutler and Dirty Channels among others.
They also mixed the infamous “Defected Miami” compilation back in 2014 and same year
have been guests at Pete Tong’s BBC Radio1 show under his “Future Stars” feature.
Always managing to stimulate great reactions and vibes to the crowds they play to thanks to
their inimitable DJ style mixing up all styles from techy to darker to funkier, this pair
performed at the liks of Cocorico’ in Riccione, Output in NY, Space Ibiza, Watergate in
Berlin, Ministry of Sound London among other in addition to their already-impressive
history of festivals and clubs appearances all over the world.
Keep an eye on this eclectic and unpredictable duo, more interesting releases are lined up
for what’s looking to be one of their most interesting music years to date!
