NeXis NeXi$ Washington D.C. Nexis grew up in the Washington D.C. metropolitan area, the DMV (DC, Maryland, Virginia). He spent time as a youth growing up in VA on Richmond Hwy and eventually returned to Suitland/District Heights MD. ”Being raised by my grandparents and my aunt provided me a vast range of musical influences early on”. Nexis goes on to explain. “My style consciously captures the intense recklessness of urban life in the DMV, and directly identifies with the impulsive culture of America's youth. I pride myself on making socially conscious yet disturbingly controversial music that ultimately moves people”.
