I recorded myself playing piano and guitar on iphone and then sampled those recordings as the basis for these tracks. Three exceptions: A 1 C is a Seagulls sample from the "Great Pine" album. A 1 I is a sample of a performance of Hurrian Hymn which is the oldest known melody in human history. A 1 H is a sample of my beloved friend, Adam Laye, playing guitar. I added beats and synths to flesh out the samples. I layered each track with samples of ASMR and white noise high in the mix and combined that with heavy, slow-release compression and auto-filtering to create breathing/vamping.
