Hauturu: Valley Walk Sunrise by nature sounds of nz

Not wanting to venture too far in the dark, I followed the rangers advice and walked for about 10 mins up the valley walkway and set up my mic at 4.30am for the dawn chorus.
Here's 7am on April 7, 2013. A mild morning with a slight breeze in the trees and a gentle onshore wind. It's a quiet recording overall but with some dynamics so don't be tempted to turn the volume up.
