In Conversation | Katie Paterson, Brian Castriota and Lucy Askew by National Galleries of Scotland

To mark the opening of Scottish artist Katie Paterson’s major presentation as part of NOW at the Scottish National Gallery of Modern Art, the artist was joined for an 'in conversation' event by Dr Brian Castriota, Contemporary Art Conservator and Research Fellow, University of Glasgow and Lucy Askew, Chief Curator, Modern and Contemporary Art at the Galleries.

Together, they discussed how Paterson explores time in her practice, and the different ways her works are made present and absent through time in both the short- and long-term.

The talk was presented in partnership with NACCA (New Approaches in the Conservation of Contemporary Art).
