Natalya Zoe Weinstein - Wedding Music Sampler Asheville Natalya Zoe Weinstein is an accomplished violinist and instructor in a variety of styles, from classical to bluegrass. She resides in Asheville, NC and performs nationally with various projects, most recently Zoe & Cloyd and Red June, appearing at prestigious events such as Grey Fox, MerleFest, Music City Roots, FreshGrass and more. She is also a champion fiddler, winning contests in both the North and the South. Natalya is also in demand as a session musician and has recorded on many albums, including projects at Echo Mountain, Hollow Reed Arts Studio, and Upstream Productions, among others. Her musical upbringing began at age 5 and consisted of many years of Suzuki violin and classical music training. She grew up in a musical household, with a violin playing mother and a jazz pianist father. Her grandfather, originally from Russia, was a full-time klezmer musician. During college Natalya began branching out to different styles of music including country, old-time and bluegrass. Upon her arrival in Asheville in 2004, she began focusing primarily on fiddle styles of the Southern Appalachians and has learned from many renowned musicians in the area. She enjoys spending time with her daughter Cadence and her husband and music partner, John Cloyd Miller.
