ELLAYO ellayo.com Debut EP "For Miriam" is a narrative meditation on bravery through space and breath. The vocal and instrumental basis of each piece was recorded live in sound-specific spaces throughout the U.S.— a church in Connecticut, a barn in Pennsylvania, a cabin in Ojai, California. The EP's five songs draw inspiration from ancient hymns and classical orchestral pieces to modern instrumental music; with the exception of a binaural delta-brainwave on the final piece, there are no electronically created sounds throughout. Produced by Grammy-nominated Tony Maserati protégé Jon Castelli (Macklemore, Khalid, 6lack).
