ether by Natacha Diels published on 2014-10-31T19:19:22Z ether seeks to subvert the piccolo's idiom by using those sounds normally only audible to the performer as the source material. This transforms the usually melodic and piercingly exposed instrument into a percussive machine. The piccolo accompanies a tape part drawn from the shortest moments of sustained sounds. Weaved together, the two partners describe a sporadic adventure through and in spite of rhythmic coherence. Genre Pamplemousse
