Sentimental Pieces for Solo Harp Mvt-II Op. 22 by naesmen published on 2013/07/01 06:15:34 +0000 Sentimental Pieces for Solo Harp Op. 22: The four movement solo harp piece was written many years ago when I was trying to figure out the details of Carlos Salzedo's modern harp technique. It starts with a moderately paced simple passage and its development. The second movement is tranquil restatement of a theme directly developed from the main theme of the first movement. The last two movements are melodic and written in the style of salon music for the harp. Although it is a simple and approachable piece, in several places, it calls for nimble fingers of an experienced interpreter.
