World 2050 - Almedin Smajlovic by muzicar.u.dusi published on 2018-03-01T23:10:02Z This song includes three different themes. Each theme begins with voice clips/audio samples. Song begins and ends with guitar parts, which represent time, which can be the year of 2050 or a clock in a room, in a silent night, before and after dreaming about the year of 2050. First voice sample is from an interview with Sophia, humanoid robot. First theme represents technology in 2050. There are many short, cut notes, which represent technology still making mistakes and still not being perfect. The complexity of the rhythm, which is in 7/8, and tonality chosen, which is C# Minor, represent us not being familiar with the technology of 2050, not understanding how everything works. Second voice sample is by Donald Trump. Second theme represents America and other upper class world. Chord progression used in this theme is well known progression in pop music. This theme shows how everything is nice in those countries, there is nice harmony in these countries. Third voice sample is by a reporter about war in Gaza. I think that war in Gaza and in other Middle Eastern countries will not stop and that people will die all around the world. This theme is in d minor scale, which is the saddest key. Accordion is supposed to show war scenes, with dead people, family members crying, at some point it represents silence on streets, pain and many other war scenes.
