When Will The Destruction End? by Max published on 2014-06-14T03:40:54Z "When Will The Destruction End?” is a composition that uses sounds taken from opening non-sound files as raw files to obtain a sound source. Each sound is only a few milliseconds long, but gets repeated very quickly to produce a timbre. The timbre's produced from the millisecond sounds are still short. In "When Will The Destruction End?” micro sounds are turned into short sounds that disappear very quickly from the listeners ear. As the composition progresses, new sounds flash by very quickly to create an atmosphere that is violent and reminiscent of destruction. Many of the sounds created also feel as though they are about to exploded or unstable enough that they will stop sounding. Other sound feel as though they are stable and want to speak past the unstable sounds but do not have enough force to overpower them. The composition resolves with a subtle sound that brings peace to the “destruction”. Genre Noise
