Emerging onto the international music scene back in 2008, Desire has consistently worked to make sure each hit is better than her last. Branded the Soca Songstress, Desire takes pride in fusing magical melodies with captivating, Caribbean rhythms. With her solid musical background from prestigious performing arts academies such as NLPAC and Sylvia Young, Desire is certainly no stranger to the stage. Born in the UK, with roots embedded in the Caribbean from her Barbadian mother and Jamaican father, Desire began her career at the tender age of seven and has shared the stage with some of the top Caribbean acts including, Bunji Garlin, Machel Montano and Alison Hinds; just to name a few. Earning the title of UK Groovy Soca Monarch back in 2012, this numerous award-wining artist is destined for greatness. Her undeniable natural talent was noticed by talent scouts from MTV, where she was shortlisted for the MTV’s Brand New competition for both 2013 & 2014, which led to her music being added to the in-flight entertainment of all British Airways flights. With an ever-growing international fan base, Desire has her own television show Desire’s World that showcases all things Caribbean. In addition to her television show, Desire has embraced the business side of entertainment, launching her own Public Relations Firm Desire&Aspire. Not only a performer, Desire is shaping up to be a media powerhouse and a household name. With her distinctive sound and natural ability to captivate an audience, Desire has no plans of slowing down.
