Sub Couple were formed in Los Angeles in 2007 by singer and guitar player David Tomlinson (Tinstar, XC-NN) and drummer Chris Clark (Feeble Plonker and the Special Clinics). In London they recruited Bassist Kieran Heneghan (Frogs of War) and guitarist/keyboardist Paul Clark (Clod Ensemble) to record the album Economy Scum.
