*Hazah* George and Matt Whitchurch Hazah = 2 men, about a dozen instruments and a laptop... Matt Vocals, acoustic guitar, flute, Irish pipes, whistles, clarinet, harmonica and banjo George Bass, electric guitar, backing vocals, keyboard/synths, programming/production etc We formed in 2003 when we started jamming over drum loops and beats created on Logic and Reason. It was just a laugh at first after work but then we sent a demo into 'Glastonbury's emerging talent competition' - it was the first year they ran it and lo and behold we got through to the finals! It was a great start for us because we got to know some great people involved in Glastonbury and we've been back to play there several times since. This also led to more festival slots such as 'The Workhouse', 'Off the Tracks' and 'The Glade'. We've done a fair few parties and nights around and about too. We try to capture those magical moments that just slot together when jamming in our music. A lot of the time we simply jam and press record and then cut up the material afterwards, maybe adding or re-recording some bits or just leaving it as it is, we're not too fussed about a totally crisp and polished production to be honest, but we do try to have it 'presentable'. Feedback is most welcome, even criticism! (but not too much ;-) please comment and follow and we will of course comment and follow back. We're well up for collaborations, anybody wants to remix, cut up, rap over, sing over...anything please don't hesitate to contact us.
