MOURE Josemaría Moure Moreno Barcelona Moure, a Galician surname which in Catalan means "to move", configures the artistic identity of José María Moure, a Chilean / Spanish musician and composer, who travels through folk music, Latin American rhythms, pop and Celtic music. Its sound surrounds the Galician bagpipes, flutes, whistles and acoustic guitar, as an atmospheric background for a poetic voice that takes from tradition, but also escapes from it. Moure discovered flutes and winds at an early age, coming to the Galician bagpipes through family ties, and from there, to Celtic music. He has a degree in Music from the University of Chile, a Master's degree in Musicology and a doctoral scholarship at the University of Barcelona, where he studies the use and meaning of soundtracks in Chilean cinema.
