Mountcastle Music Benoît Schlosberg Paris Born in 1954, Benoît Schlosberg spent his childhood in New York, Rome and Paris. He began studying the guitar with Alexandre Lagoya at the Schola Cantorum in Paris in 1961. He continued his studies with Angelo Ferraro in Italy, and then, returning to France, improved his knowledge with Alberto Ponce at the Ecole Normale de Musique de Paris. He completed his musical education studying composition with Madame Jeanine Rueff. He is a prize winner of the Fondation Yehudi Menuhin and was selected to participate at the Pléïade Project, headed by the composer , Gabriel Yared. Schlosberg belongs to a generation of musicians who create music by combining the essence of popular and classical forms. Currently he is executive manager of the Conservatoire Niedermeyer (Issy les Moulineaux-France) He continues to compose for film and others projects and to conduct.
