mote. Brisbane Darren Smith has been a composer, and performer of electronic music for the past 7 years. Under the nom de plume Reality Pixie, Darren has been a regular fixture on the Australian 'doof' circuit. Having earned a reputation for creating emotional, melodic psychedelic trance, Darren has performed in every state of Australia; as well as Internationally, with shows in Ukraine, Finland, Russia and Thailand. More recently Darren has taken a step back from the world of dancefloor music to focus on his new downtempo electronic music project 'mote.'; a collage of ambient, glitchy breakbeats, squelchy melodies, ethnic vibrations and orchestral oscillations.
