Founders Evan & Solara LMH Landes’ desire to enlighten and ultimately transform new listeners into loyal followers on a global level has been their mission since the label’s inception. MoHo’s strategy of releasing an eclectic array of intoxicating dance grooves which are not bound by any gimmicky trends, and memorable songs that stand the test of time has paid off since their doors first opened in 2002. A brilliant collective of singers, musicians, writers & producers, who are featured throughout MoreHouses’ impressive catalogue have helped define the “MoHo Sound”. MoHo’s rich discography can boast licensing songs to some of the most successful branded House compilation series such as Defected's "In The House" & "Connected", Hed Kandi's "Stereo Sushi", Ministry Of Sound's "House Sexy", Seamless Recordings "Bargrooves" and Om Records "House of Om" to name a few. In 2008 MoreHouse issued its 100th license for 3rd party compilations.
Building upon an already loyal fan base and forever evolving, MoreHouse’s tougher sibling label MoHo 180 launched in the fall of 2008 with great results. 180’s first release “I Put My Faith In You,” produced by Danish sensation Morten Trust (aka Soulmagic) and featuring EDM superstar Ida Corr rocked main room dance floors. MoHo’s branded events in So. Beach, Miami at the Shelbourne (MoHo in SoBe) and in their hometown of Los Angeles at Libertine & Dragon Bar (MoHo Los Angeles) attracted thousands of partygoers and house enthusiasts from around the world.
2009 brought on the introduction of MoHo’s highly acclaimed compilation series MoHo Vault’s & MoHo Essential’s, as well as a Top 10 Singles download hit “Shut Up n’ Dance” feat. Wendy Brune on Traxsource.
2010 marked the release of Groove Junkies debut artist album “IN THE ZONE” which received Album of the Year & Album of the Month kudos and rave reviews from industry tastemakers. It also garnered the coveted #1 Album Download slot and spawned two more Top 10 Single downloads ( “Far Away” feat. TC Moses and “What’s Freedom” co-penned by Solara & feat. Keeping the momentum moving forward, MoreHouse scored two more Top 10 single downloads on Traxsource with Groove Junkies amazing cover of Phyllis Hyman’s “You Know How To Love Me,” featuring MoHo veteran Indeya in 2011 and with their Gospel house treatment of Billie Holiday’s classic “God Bless The Child” featuring newcomer Chellena Black in 2012 – their 15th overall Top 10 download on Traxsource!
‘Future Classics’ to be on the lookout for on MoreHouse & MoHo 180 include original releases from Evan under his new Deep House alias ‘Nimble Digits’ and Groove Junkies moniker, along with a variety of singles from a vast array of gifted artists on both labels.
