Moonlight Graham Records Dave Nielsen Orange It started as a clothing store... Then we thought it would be cool to carry some vinyl. Then we thought it would be even cooler if we had a show. Then we thought it would be coolest if somehow, someway Exene Cervenka played that show. She did. And she did another. And that begat "Exene's Moonlight Hootenanny". And then John Doe came. And Phil Alvin. And Jack Grisham. And Celebrity Skin. And Pat Smear. And Twisted Roots. And It's OK. And Hector Penalosa. A veritable "Field of Dreams" for LA roots / punk artists if you will. Then Exene asked if we'd be interested in re-releasing one of her earlier projects. Indeed we would, and with that Moonlight Graham Records is born. So we are still a clothing store. And a record store. And an art gallery. And a racing museum. And we have books & kids stuff. And we design things. And now we are a record label.
