Moonlight Flood Cool Band Toronto Moonlight Flood is Matt James (voice and guitar), Will Melville (voice and guitar), Rich Best (percussion) and Liam Colbert (bass). Formed in Toronto in 2015, Moonlight Flood has crafted a unique and unmistakable style that draws on folk, indie and singer-songwriter roots. The band is built on tasteful minimalism and the music is presented in sparse, thoughtful arrangements. James and Melville sing in tight, wonderfully blended harmonies. Lush guitar accompaniment is supported by an ultra-musical rhythm section in Best and Colbert. At times somber and at times uplifting, the music is powerful, emotional, and honest.
