MoNO DeLUX Melbourne After 3 years of constant touring and releasing a critically acclaimed album, winning 3 Grammy awards in the process, Mono Delux are lucky to even get a rehearsal in every month let alone get up to the aforementioned output. Maybe winning the hearts of 3 Granny's is about the best they can muster currently. The Mono's consist of 3 producers. They're very busy. Very...busy. One would ask what's the motivation to keep hanging out. Well Mendoza & JT have been brothers for many years, stretching back to high school. Ra Ra Ra. They are used to tearing up stages worldwide from bands such as Bugdust. Making up the 3 is Delboy on Bass, soooooo.........yeah. The Mono's creedo.....that's short for belief system.....is to be as mysterious as possible and not elaborate too much. Just get on with it without a lot of fanfare and constant explaining. You know when some bands go on for too long and they truly miss the opportunity to remain mystifying and just completely open up and ramble on too long. Not ramble on in a good way like Led Zeppelin tracks although it could be argued some Mono Delux songs have longer intro's than a Liverpool FC break between premiership wins…... Anyway. Go Mono.
