I'm an American Drum & Bass producer & DJ returning after taking a break. In my most active years (1993 to 2004) I played gigs with many of the biggest names in Drum & Bass from the UK & US;
Andy C, Reprazent, Doc Scott, Break, A-Sides, Jumping Jack Frost, Bryan Gee, Tech Itch, Dieselboy, Dara, Hidden Agenda, DJ Lee, DJ Rap, DJ SS, Spirit, Mental Power, John B, Elementz of Noize, Aquasky, and Embee.
I moved to the west coast in 1994 and was a resident at the first DnB weekly in Seattle WA called Slower Sundays with partners Sean Mercer and Donald Glaude. While in Seattle I had a DnB radio show on Seattle's first pirate radio KXTC.
From 1996 to 1999 I had a bi-monthly broadcast on
113 Audio which was one of the first streamed DnB broadcasts on the internet. 1996-2000 I co-hosted Abstractions - Nashville's original weekly DnB radio show on WRVU 91.1 FM. 2001-2003 hosted DnBFM on WWHR 91.7 FM and also a weekly 2 hour broadcast on DnBTV (2001-2003).
In 1998 I began M.A.D. Bass Recordings
(Middle American Drum & Bass) with a friend and investor
(Yeji Hong; Bellecore Productions, Boston MA) to release my own DnB tunes and those of the talent I thought had merit to be pressed in wax. Through M.A.D. Bass we released numerous vinyl 12" 45's singles and a CD LP. All releases were mastered by The Exchange in London. Through M.A.D. Bass Recordings I produced solo tunes, produced collaborations with Embee (Juice, Splash, Ganja, Eastside), US DnB DJ/producer: KC. There were also numerous other Stateside collaborations between myself and other DnB producers/DJ's - most notably members of Nashville based DnB crew High Society now known as NoiseFloor (Propa/Impropa Talent). Other collaborations included projects with 3vil G3nius, Troll, Mowgli, Mayday, Danny C, Brad Peterson (Moods & Grooves), Digicide. Some of the pseudonyms I've produced tracks under are: MK2, ZeroSum, Dirty South, Kindred Spirit, Tryptech, Paradox, Ken2Keys, and Bootleg.
I've always been a fan of any kind of music - so long as it appeals to my ears. DnB is still my forte but I've decided to branch out and produce whatever I feel like whenever the idea hits me. Therefore in addition to the DnB I produce you will find some clips of slower tempo tunes I've produced and posted on this page.
