Justin Carter and Eamon Harkin live from Mister 100 - July 29th, 2012 by mistersaturdaynight published on 2012/08/08 02:53:15 +0000 Mister Saturday Night started in a Manhattan club in early 2009. A few parties in, we forged a new path, turning the Mister into a one-of-a-kind, grassroots experience. We rent a private party space, set up our own soundsystem and bring in our own friendly team to work the door and the bar – to make it feel like home. In 2011 we extended Mister Saturday Night into Mister Sunday, taking over the beloved, tree-specked space at 400 Carroll Street called Gowanus Grove. On Sunday July 29th, 2012 we celebrated our 100th Mister ever. It’s true. We counted. This is a recording from that day, from about 6:30pm until 9pm. Eamon Harkin and Justin Carter, the party's founders and residents, played back to back to a whole bunch of happy people. And to top it off, at the end of their set, they arranged a big surprise, a full on performance by Brooklyn Steppers, a Brooklyn high school drum corps and step team. So good. We hope you enjoy. **Thanks to our buddy, Adam Kill Screen, for making the recording.
