Springscape by miss.bliss published on 2013-06-07T22:54:00Z I wrote this song 5 years ago and finally recorded it last year. I'd like to do a more polished version of this at some point but it's a start. I had it up for a year and realized the vocals were a little quiet so I just edited it and put it back up. I'll throw the lyrics in here for shits: I never knew reality, was always told what to believe but when I saw your face you were smiling at me and I knew that I loved you much too much to keep you And now I'm anchored in the breeze, got to carry on, and never leave so when somebody new is taking you home I'll wake up in springtime I keep turning inside out and around, feet stuck tightly to the ground We always knew that it would be this way. Too many words I'd never say Was I ever really sober all them times that I told you how I loved you so? Struck with my fear it'd be o(ver) no, so, all them words got stuck to the tip of my tongue And it was never very easy to let go of your feel on my fingertips speaking the same old tired words when really I was counting to ten, again and again I keep turning inside out and around, feet stuck tightly to the ground We always knew that it would be this way. Too many words I'd never say.
