Mindy Galvin is a twenty-two-year-old singer/songwriter from Ohio. In a span of thirteen years, she have written over one hundred songs, recorded various versions of original tracks, worked in three different professional studios, and attended two music business camps at Anderson University. She has also learned to produce her own music with Pro-Tools software, the recording program used by artists such as Toby Mac and Stephanie Smith. In 2008, she partook in a songwriting class taught by Charlie Peacock, the producer of Switchfoot, Amy Grant, and many more well-known names. Not only did she have the honor of learning from this songwriting master, she also got to record her first song with him. Two summers in a row, she was privileged to have stage performance lessons from Tom Jackson, stage coach of country music star Taylor Swift. On top of that, she has received help and guidance from James Hodgin, manager of Thousand Foot Krutch, The Dizmas, and Hawk Nelson. She has worked with countless other successful musicians, producers, managers, mixers, and vocal coaches. “Sometimes it’s hard to keep going,” says Mindy, “but I keep reminding myself that this isn’t about me.” The basis of everything Mindy does lies on her faith in Jesus Christ.
