MindlagProject MindlagProject . Vitrolles Mindlag Project is a French metal band born in 1999, which have recorded 3 EPs and 1 LP. This last one has been released on March 2009 through Pervade Productions, distributed physically all over Europe, and digitally all over the world through Believe Digital. The band played more than a hundred shows, with famous headliner (Gojira, Voïvod, (hed)pe, Dagoba, Eths, L’esprit du clan, Black bomb A, Ultra Vomit, Trepalium, Klone, Hacride, Hypno5e, Kronos, Manimal…) and has played its first European tour on May 2010 with Six Feet Under and Illdisposed, after a French one on October 2009 as a headliner. Mindlag Project is foremost an artistic concept, based on a dark and mysterious character called Jon De Grimpclat. He has a dual personality : He is, somehow, a Dandy who has studied classics to be a professor, but his principal extra-curricular activity is to be a serial killer… but a special kind of serial killer, closer to a super-hero, because he only kills people deserving it, according to him of course. So, all the songs of the band are part of a concept dealing with this man, which allows them to probe human mind, and to make a kind of catharsis. Their music looks like a therapy for them.
