As she continues to expand her talents and think outside the box, her approach continues to be versatile.
Milyssa is always open to performing at a variety of different venues. The venues she has performed at, include Sweet Auburn Festival, the Rialto Theater, Athens Pride, South GA Pride, GA Equality, Under the Rainbow Athens, UGA, Piedmont Park, Smith’s Olde Bar, Jungle, and Center Stage, and more. Her stage shows are widely known for consisting of vibrant energy and personality that you won’t soon forget. Milyssa has opened for B5, Kilo Ali, Faith Evans, Mykko Montana, Donnell Jones, and the Rich Kidz. Additionally, she has been featured on Keepin it 1K with Love and Hip Hop Atlanta’s own Lil Scrappy. Her music has been played on R&B Divas and The Union of European Football Associations.
Over the years, Milyssa has won numerous awards, such as the AUMA Radio Best Female Vocalist (2015), Straight Ally 2014 for Meak Productions, Akademia Music Awards for Best Pop four times (2014/2016), Poze Records Best Music Video (April 2014), and Follow Because I am Hot (Hot Block Magazine, 2013).
Knowing no limitations, Milyssa has been deeply active in community fundraisers for many years—some of which include: People TV, The Shepherd’s House, Rainbow House, 500 Songs for Kids, WOW Ministries, International Women of H.O.P.E. and Sosyete Koukouy of Atlanta.
Milyssa’s music has been featured on R&B Divas/TV One, UEFA (Union of European Football Association), and Sounds of the Underground (Pilot Tv show). Her song “Fierce and Fabulous” was chosen to be featured and filmed for WOW Ministries domestic violence project. Milyssa’s latest song with Latin Hip Hop artist, Raxiel Sinz, “Can’t lose your Love” was featured on Thisis50 and has over 20K hits on Vevo.
In the future, Milyssa’s dream is to continue to enhance her talents as an artist and performer and envisions having her very own Production Company, Talent Company, and clothing line. She also wants to continue giving back to her community by raising funds and volunteering her time to HIV/AIDS, Battered Women and Children, as well as Animal Rights Organizations.
