Feral & Stray - One For Sorrow (Two For Joy) by Mikrokleinstgarten published on 2013-08-28T11:04:50Z One For Sorrow (Two For Joy) from the album 'Between You And The Sea' is based on the mysterious poem 'The Secret of the Seven Crows'. It describes being separated from where your heart lies by vast distances but together in memories, the sadness of hearts hanging on, the joy of moving closer mile by mile and the crows all knowing, watching from the roadside. The song appropriately features the haunting voice of Canadian troubadour David Simard. FERAL & STRAY are a collective of musicians, gathering around Canadian singer-songwriter and head of the stray’s Erin Lang in varying line-ups and instrumentations. With whispering soft voice she displaces boundaries of pop further into the distance and—would the attempt of a classification be really necessary—could be called dream pop in a breath. The debút album of Feral & Stray named »Between You And The Sea« will be released by Mikrokleinstgarten and distributed by Cargo on November 1st 2013. Produced by Mark Lawson, (Arcade Fire, Owen Palette, Beirut, Unicorns & Timber Timbre) the album features guest appearances by Taylor Kirk and Simon Trottier (Timber Timbre), Emi Honda and Kristina Koropecki (Elfin Saddle). Godspeed You! Black Emperor’s Dave Bryant mixed the album’s instrumental tracks. www.feralandstray.com www.mikrokleinstgarten.de Physical order link: http://www.feralandstray.com/store Digital order link: http://itunes.apple.com/album/id723561915 Genre Dream Pop Comment by Abandon The Inside cool... ich mag die relaxte atmosphäre 2014-02-06T19:40:41Z
