Mike Gravis Progressive & Ambient Rock Music www.mikegrav.is Mike Gravis, amateur musician, multi-instrumentalist and composer, was born in December 1967 in Vienna, Austria, and has always been thrilled and impressed by rock music. After seeing David Gilmour, the voice and guitar of Pink Floyd, during his 2006 "On an Island" tour and concerts he knew, he wanted to start playing guitar. In 2008 he bought his first guitar, a black Fender Stratocaster, and started learning the instrument. In the following years he started to sing and began learning to play keyboard and bass guitar. On his recordings, he plays all instruments himself. Mainly influenced by Pink Floyd and progressive rock music, Mike occasionally composes and publishes his own songs.
