Mick Hale's recent residencies are at The ASBURY Hotel (spinning TEA monthly,) BiWeekly Summer Sundays at THE BEACH BAR Asbury, multiple main room gigs at RAINBOW MOUNTAIN RESORT in the Poconos & he is currently in his 7th year of “TEMPTED TUESDAYS” at GEORGIES, Asbury....
Other recent gigs include Long Branch’s 1st ever TeaDance at the WHITECHAPPEL PROJECTS, 2 Sets at The Ascension Festival, Black & Gold Ball 1 & 2(Halloween) w/Cee Cee Peniston & Martha Wash, 5 Sandblast(s)in Asbury and Atlantic City (Circuit Weekend,) PINK PROM 1-thru-7, RSVP's Caribbean Cruise(Aruba,) WAYLA(Toronto,) The CrUsH! "Winter White Party," a residency at THE DEN (NJ's Legendary & longest running gay club,)and a 13-month residency at Shlep Pettibone's "Paradise" Niteclub, preceded by a year residency at SWELL, Asbury.
Some of the other recent venues he has played include The House Of Independants, Watermark, WonderBar, Convention Hall, The Saint, Asbury Lanes, Hotel Tides & Club VuDu... Mick is also the go-to DJ for NJ's biggest Equality Rights groups spinning multiple fundraisers & events for The PrideNetwork, Project REAL and Garden State Equality all over the state since 2009.
Mick was named NJ Best DJ by Odyssey Mag NYC & voted "People's Choice Best Male DJ NJ," & has been a featured guest DJ on FreshRadioUK & in March 2013 made the "Top 10" of GIRL Radio's "Are you the next Circuit DJ" competition. His megamixes can also be found on the "Dirrty remix" website. Hale has been releasing electro music & remixing other artists since the 90's & can be heard on over 2 dozen cd releases (& currently on his Soundcloud page.)
Starting in the mid 80's with College-Radio & Niteclub guest-slots, Mick eventually landed a weekly spot at "The Roxy" in 1991 that turned into a 3-nite a week residency for nearly 6 years. Since that time, he has spun in & around the tri-state area, his longest residencies were at "The Roxy," "The Melody" & "Oz" in New Brunswick, & "Ground Zero" in Hoboken. Guest spots at many other venues thru the 90s & 00s, followed: CBGB, The Colosseum, Maxwells, The Beach Bar, Uve's, Ryans, The Station(Bkyln) & Conduit(Trenton,) to name a few.
