MEMCO Ann Arbor Michigan Electronic Music Collective MEMCO is a group of DJs, producers, and event-goers that provides a platform for electronic music in the Ann Arbor area. Every month, MEMCO hosts “Impulse” parties at an Ann Arbor venue that feature student DJs and professional guests. Along with proceeds often being used for fundraising efforts for local organizations, Impulse parties provide a safe, inclusive space for attendees and performers to enjoy a range of electronic music. MEMCO also runs ongoing DJ and music production workshops, empowering members to use club-standard equipment and industry-standard software. In these ways, MEMCO maintains its tradition of teaching and learning, building a warm community of DJs, producers, dancers, and friends in the Ann Arbor area.
