Deadlands: Of Fate and Desire, Session #8 by White Steve Lightning

The audio recording of the 8th session of the Deadlands Classic campaign I have been running. I forgot to turn on the recording device at the beginning of the session, so the first part starts like 10-15 minutes into the session.

So far in the campaign, the party has begun to find strange items- tarot cards that radiate strong magical power. Whatever significance they hold, it must be great, for it seems many parties are interested in getting their hands on them.

The posse consists of
>Morgan Wilder, a huckster gone west to find his long lost half-brother. Professional do-gooder
>Joseph Lionheart, a Blessed knight in full plate with a two handed broadsword and divine powers. Striking the literal fear of god into people and slaying monsters.
>Caroline _, an undercover agent in service of the City of Deseret, land of the Future-Mormons. Carries a big fuck-off gun, knows how to use it. On a surveillance mission to keep tabs on Morgan Wilder for Deseret.
>Jack Steel, member of the Agency sent west on a secret mission. Currently under the guise of a lawyer, Jeremy St. John.
>Dai-Yu, a martial artist who is the younger sister of the legendary warlord Kang. This session is her introductory session, so not much has happened with her yet.

Session 8 picks up after a fancy party where the host was assassinated, and mad science that was to be auctioned off was destroyed. Also, a mad scientist entered the party with the intent to bomb the shit out of it- but was foiled when his bomb malfunctioned.
