ME AND JANE DOE Vienna In the summer of 2011 a techno dj, a burlesque dancer and an illustrator had a drink in their favourite queer bar in Vienna. That drink led to another, which led to another, and yet another, and at the end of the evening they had decided that starting a band together could most probably be the best idea ever! Since sharing a passion for triphop and new wave was what brought them together on this bright summer night, this would also be the fusion of sound that their new brilliant band would have. Some months later ME and JANE DOE played their first concert. In late 2012, a young punk guitar player found her way to their rehearsal space, and with her experimental and noisy guitar effects added to the mix, the band got closer to finding their desired sound.
