Melbourne Chamber Players

Leaping onto the Australian music scene in 2017, the Melbourne Chamber Players are quickly establishing a reputation for their impassioned and captivating performances. Having dedicated their lives to making music at the highest level, the musicians of MCP herald from leading Australian symphony orchestras and ensembles.

To date, the ensemble has enjoyed an active life on stage in their brief time together with performances across Melbourne and live recordings for 3MBS Radio. The 2019 season boasts a series of concerts at the Melbourne Recital Centre Salon, the launch of an enriching education program, and various performances across regional Victoria.

Directed by clarinetist Justin Beere and oboist Steph Dixon, the ensemble is committed to illuminating extraordinary and unique chamber music; championing lesser-known works by important and meaningful composers.
