Michael Christopher [Cityfox, Kindisch, MC&Hammer, Brooklyn, New York]
Michael Christopher is a producer, engineer and DJ based out of Brooklyn, New York.
Michael also works as one half of live act MC&Hammer (https://soundcloud.com/mchammermusic) and collaborates on production with Minnesota jazz pianist and producer John Camp. Both collaborative projects contributed music to the Cityfox Circle Compilation 1 in September of 2012.
A debut solo EP on Get Physical sister label, Kindisch, was released in March, 2014.
As a DJ and live act with MC&Hammer, Michael has performed at various venues like: Club Space, Tree House, Eve, PS14, The Cove, La Folies, The Electric Pickle, Good Units, The Highline Ballroom, SRB Brooklyn, The Panther Room, TBA and played for US promoters: Resolute, Autobrennt, Verboten, Miami Rebels, LinK Miami, Blk Market NYC, Mess, Audiolism, PL0T and VooDoo LA. Michael has played gigs in the US, Mexico, Puerto Rico and has also toured Chile and Argentina in 2014 with Parties 4 Peace.
Before moving to New York, Michael was resident DJ for the PL0T collective based out of Miami, who have enjoyed a residency at The Electric Pickle since 2009.
Alex Hamadey (age 26, Los Angeles native)
Alex "Hammer" Hamadey, a Brooklyn based producer/musician moved to NYC in 2008. He began work at Smith Street Studios where he has engineered records for artists such as Azaelia Banks and Karen Ann.
Hamadey also joined the Brooklyn based indie-dance group, Lindbergh Palace, that same year, who concentrates on pop song structure fused with analog sound production.
Alex has also wrote extensive commercial music for the music production company, HyperBallad, where his work has been featured in national campaigns by BMW, Got Milk, and various other mass market media projects.
In 2011, he opened his own production studio, FuckYouYankeeBlueJeansStudio, where he has produced tracks with artists like Frances Rose, Little Horns and MANIK.
2012 brought a move a bit to the left side of things when he released his first full-length record, "Outside the Box," under the alias SmallBroadcasts, which came out on the imprint: Something Records. That same year, him and a few of his fellow Brooklyn musicians and friends started the vinyl-only techno-themed label, Voodoo Down Records, where he released a two tracks under the name "N'conduit", alongside STL and AntonZap.
