Night City Stories #3: Starting our Life Paths: The Street Kid, The Corpo-rat, and The Nomad by Mash Those Buttons

This week we finally dive into the game story proper. Between Jaa and Bob, we cover the opening job for all three life paths: The Street Kid, The Corpo-rat, and The Nomad. We discuss the details of each, and how these jobs try to help you get to know the very different lifestyles lived in Cyberpunk 2077. While all three life paths start different, they converge on a single point rather quickly. We discuss being a bit disappointed that the life path jobs felt a bit short, and also felt a bit rushed in terms of getting to know your character. Jaa suggests some features from other RPGs that could improve that feeling. We also jump ahead a bit and discuss the impact our life paths have had on our game play experiences after the initial job.
