Marras Kuopio Marras, a five piece metal group from Kuopio was formed in 2013. The music quickly started to form and was from the start heavy, fast and with lyrics in Finnish language. The first demo "Marras", released in 2014 featured Toni Paananen from Malpractice on drums, but after the demo Aaro Lappalainen (Soulfallen, Vesperith) was found to sit permanently behind the drum throne. The following releases - "Pahin Sairaus" (EP, 2015) and "Pinnan Alle" (EP, 2018) - further refined the sound of Marras, and got good reviews in the media. Marras has rocked the Kuopiorock stage twice, in 2017 and 2019. In 2020 as Marras releases it's new material, the world is about to witness a modern new Marras, featuring both the fastest and most progressive sound for the band - while still retaining the familiar Marras feel, but also with some surprises in the mix..
