Marloes van Son Marloes van Son Helsinki Marloes creates layered atmospheric soundscapes with a pop twist. She uses her self-built instruments in experimental compositions with graphic scores, layered vocals, occasional beats and field recordings. She performs both under her own name and collaborates with Alex van Giersbergen in their audiovisual project ALOES. Originally from the Netherlands, she currently lives and works in Helsinki (FI).
