Soothing Baby Sounds (disquiet0250) by Ambient Rushton published on 2016-10-13T21:24:53Z "Compose a piece of music intended for a newborn child, something peaceful as they first experience the world outside the womb." I remember when our first daughter was born, she would sleep better on car rides when we played music with a touch of prominent bass. Nothing too loud, of course. This piece tries to replicate that "perfect" soothing baby sound that our daughter liked while in the car. In addition to two kinds of basses, there's a variety of field recordings mixed in the background, along with a section of the track "Tactile Music" by Mark Rushton and Jon Harnish, from our 2008 album Ornate Culmination. I find it hard to tame. 2016-10-17T07:45:48Z Comment by Magic From Space is soothing. a backgound feel. 2016-10-17T01:17:44Z Comment by 337is (three three seven is) Great atmosphere ... totally soothes me. 2016-10-16T21:19:00Z Comment by Florian Neubauer old shit this is very very good. 2016-10-16T18:51:08Z Comment by Jet Jaguar (NZ) Sounds great - I know friends have used white noise to help soothe their babies and the field recordings in this remind me of that effect. 2016-10-15T20:11:57Z Comment by Hypoid Very relaxing, especially with the field recording of rain(?) running through :-) 2016-10-15T08:18:44Z
