Regina Caeli performed by Maynooth Chamber Choir by Marc Balbirnie published on 2012-02-20T21:48:57Z Regina Caeli is a latin hymn which means 'Queen of Heaven'. This setting of the hymn was the winner of a composition competition for Maynooth Chamber Choir in 2006. The piece was performed at an inter-varsity event at Trinity College Dublin, as well as part of the annual chamber choir concert in St. Patrick's, Maynooth. At the latter concert the piece was performed as the third of a series of three settings. The first piece was a plain chant setting and the second was a baroque one. The choir performed the piece beautifully. Genre Choral Comment by Keith Fennell So is that the Maynooth Chamber Choir then? I remember learning this. Great piece. 2012-02-23T14:41:52Z
