Manu Martin was born in Vigo, a port city in northern Spain, which was the scene of his adolescence to the rhythm of music cassettes "New Beat" that a familiar had sent to him from the Netherlands, with his walkman glued to their ears. These early electronic influences, along with the industrial environment of his hometown, could only result in a Technics turntables and a bag of techno, which began to make public after 20 years in some clubs Vigo. In 2000 he obtained the residence in the room "Opera", one of the mythical discos in Vigo, that marked an era of frenzied nights in those boom years of techno, where the crazy dance nights succeeded to the rhythm of their 3-turntables, together with the other two dj's of the clubber movement of the city, Tom and David Flashback. These were crucial years of "Opera" at the scene of the region, and of course, on the trajectory and evolution of Manu. After the inevitable closure, Manu becomes resident "Moloko" another historic club in Vigo, where he remained for 4 years. These resident will help to be known outside the city and he begins to walk his bag for several parts of Spain (The Real, Octopus club, Delfos, Multiusos de Toledo......), and later he'll go to Portugal (Via Lactea...) London (The Mass, The Rocket, 1001 cafe) and Netherlands (Pact festival, Fuck you where in Eindhoven, Twstd, Area 51) sharing a cabin with people like Derrick May, John Digweed, Dave Clarke, Alexander Kowalski, Adam Beyer, Heiko Laux, Chris Liebing, and Oscar Mulero, among some . His favorite hobby is still DJing, whether its genuine techno, drum and bass or breaks, while producing sounds for Triple Rec and Kalamazoo rec label. And though the years pass, give him some turntables and he'll move the world!
